In addition to defeating Missouri, our arch enemies, with a score of 103-56, the University of Kansas proved why Allen Fieldhouse is widely considered to be the greatest place to see a college basketball game.  With 7:12 left to play in the first half, the score tied, a large portion of the student section spontaneously broke out into a choreographed dance to music that played over the loudspeakers.

My KU pride is swelling.

Did I shout out “Rock chalk Jayhawk” to this visitor to our fair city and her similarly clad family? No, only because three hours earlier I reflexively yelled out the chant to a different passerby wearing KU apparel who didn’t hear me, and it was kind of embarrassing.
