While stopping to take photos of an abandoned gas station between L.A. and Vegas the other day, I suddenly heard the sounds of barking, causing me to turn and see this dog charging after me.  I immediately started to sprint the roughly 200 yards back toward the car, with the beast in hot pursuit.  I honestly thought I was done for, but I somehow outran the monster.  I can’t remember the last time I was that terrified.  The lesson?  Abandoned gas stations need to stay abandoned.
The end result: Average photos, great story.
