GQ: The New Rules of Neckties

As the working world goes increasingly casual, it’s the rebellious guys with attitude and serious style who are knotting up.

Yeah, maybe it’s weird to be excited over an article about neckties, but this is vindication for me.  Sweet vindication!!  Though Newsweek’s dress code is business-casual, it’s definitely more casual than business.  As a result, I sometimes catch shit for throwing on a tie, as I am wont to do.  The next time that happens I’m not going to run hunched over into the bathroom to cry and cut myself with my tie bar, but point them to this piece, straighten my tie and offer a hearty, “F you!” to the world.
